Wilson Timmons, Jr., 85
1940-2026

Mr. Wilson Timmons, Jr. was born April 12, 1940, in Casscoe, Arkansas, to the late Wilson Timmons, Sr.  and Ada Mae Hogan. He departed this earthly life on March 12, 2026.

Wilson accepted Christ at an early age. He was a dedicated Deacon at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, under the leadership of Reverend Bobby Brown, where he attended until his health declined.

Wilson was a hardworking employee at Producers Rice Mill, where he committed 45 years of service before retiring.

Wilson met and married the love of his life, Susie Mae Johnson, on November 17, 1965, and their union lasted 51 years. From this marriage, five children were born. Together, they enjoyed riding around the city, fishing, and visiting family. Just being together was rewarding to him. He loved his family.

Wilson was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Susie M. Timmons, and by his siblings: brothers Lee Mathis, L.H., D.I. Lester, and Chester; and sisters Emma Rie, Sandra, and Mae Jane, who now await his arrival at the gates of Heaven.

Wilson leaves to cherish his memory five children Karey (Puna) King of Stuttgart, AR, Beatrice Cline of Stuttgart, AR, Elaine Timmons of Pine Bluff, AR, Anita Timmons of Stuttgart, AR, and Wilson L. Timmons (Shantel) of Stuttgart, AR; two grandchildren he raised as his own Willie (Angel) Moore and Cashemi Harris, both of Little Rock, AR; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Wilson also is survived by two sisters Polly Ann Bell of KS and Bessie Jeffery of Little Rock, AR; a special brother-in-law Thurman Johnson (Sonny) of Tulsa, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
