1954-2026
William E. “Bill” Moseley, 72, of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away on June 23, 2026.
Bill was born on February 12, 1954, in McGehee, Arkansas, to the late William C. Moseley and Mary E. Moseley. He spent his life as a devoted husband, father, hardworking provider, and faithful servant of God.
Bill was married to the love of his life, Judy Moseley, and together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and perseverance. He was a proud father to Allen Moseley, Jason Moseley, and Billy Moseley, and he treasured the time he spent with his family.
A lifelong member of the Assembly of God faith, Bill believed in helping others, working hard, and treating people with kindness and respect. He was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to fix almost anything. Over the years, he worked in appliance repair, air conditioning and refrigeration repair, hardware retail, security, and the Department of Correction. Whether helping a customer, a neighbor, or a friend, Bill was always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge.
Outside of work, Bill enjoyed gardening, do-it-yourself projects, and collecting coins. He found satisfaction in building, repairing, and creating things with his own hands. He also had a special love for dogs and never passed up the opportunity to spend time with pets.
Those who knew Bill will remember his determination, his practical wisdom, and his willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. He lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and love for his family. The lessons he taught, the skills he shared, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, the late William C. Moseley and Mary E. Moseley.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Moseley; his sons, Allen Moseley, Jason Moseley, and Billy Moseley; and many family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss him deeply.
A memorial service will be held at McGehee Cemetery on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing that Bill's life was one of purpose, faith, and love. His memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cremation arrangements made by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee, Arkansas.
