John Wesley Cook, Jr., 81, of White Hall, passed away, Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Born November 10, 1943, Wesley, as he was commonly known, was a son of the late John Wesley Cook, Sr. & Suda Varnell Cook.

A Jack of all trades, he had worked for 20 years in the maintenance departments between Planters Cotton Oil Mill & Southern Bag Corporation, and another decade as a welder at Pine Bluff Iron Works.

Wesley enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, four wheelin’ & most anything outdoors; he was also known to be a wiz on the computer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Katherine Murphy Cook, to whom he was married, May 5, 1975; children, Michael Cook (Kay), Karen Stevens, Tish Mosley (Danny), & Cindy Strange (Herman); brothers, Louis, Franklin, Gene & Pete; sisters, JoAnn, Sandy, Catherine & Linda; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other loving family & friends.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 2:00 p.m. in Brown Cemetery with Brother E.S. Shaw officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel 8302 Dollarway Road, White Hall, AR 71602.
