Tony Calvin Magness, 64, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1962 to the late Junius and Betty Magness. Tony attended Calvary Baptist Church in Monticello. Tony lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends. He brought joy to everyone around him. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, attending concerts, and traveling to new places.
He is preceded in death by his father, Junius Magness. Tony is survived by his mother, Betty Magness; his daughter, Kaitlyn Magness, of Dermott; His brother Eddie (Virginia) Magness of Texarkana; his sister Letica (Tony) Adams of Monticello; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Dermott Cemetery, with Bro. Gary Carter officiating.
