Thomas Edward Williams, PHD Ministry, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ March 30, 2026. He was in Gospel Ministry for six decades. He lived in Dermott, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas R. Williams; parents, Virgil C. Williams and Lewellyn Barnes; brother, David Williams and sister Ruth Ann Lablanc. He is survived by his wife Mary Williams; son, Donald Williams; sister, Candace Meadows and brother in law Charles Meadows.
He was blessed to have many nieces and nephews. He truly loved them all. Tom was part of Master of Masonic lodge Magnolia #60 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He served as a letter carrier for ten years in Little Rock and moved to postmaster starting at Mayflower, Arkansas and retiring as postmaster in Dermott, Arkansas. He was an avid family man. He thought it was honorable to support his family. He shared his love by being supportive in all ways. He was dearly loved by his family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 10-11 am at Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Bro Tim Christmas. Interment will take place Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 4:00 pm, at Copeland Ridge Cemetery in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
