Tanya Renea Daniels, 45
1980-2026

Tanya Renea Daniels, age 45 of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on February 25, 2026. Tanya was born in Salem, Arkansas on April 11, 1980, to Randy Burr and Deniece Beck. Tanya was a member of McGehee Christian Center and a devout Christian. She was a dedicated Mother and loving Wife, giving tirelessly of herself to support her family, always putting everyone’s needs before her own. Tanya lived life with commitment and unmatched zeal as she strived to make everything “perfect”. She was a second mother to many, cooking meals after high school football and basketball games. All were welcome in her kitchen. Whether coaching softball, being a cheer mom or supporting the McGehee Owls athletics, she never approached a situation without truly giving everything of herself. She coached countless softball players, not only making them better players but making them better young women. Her motto simply stated, “If all I have ever done is teach you to play the game, then I have failed you as a coach.” Tanya enjoyed cheering for anything sports related, but especially loved the Kansas City Chiefs, McGehee Owls and Arkansas Razorbacks. She had a knack for detail that was evidenced by her ability to rise above any situation. Nothing was haphazard or left partially done.

Tanya was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Lawrence and Loretta Combs, Paternal Grandparents, Ernest and Rita Burr. She is survived by her parents, Randy Burr of McGehee, Denice Beck of McGehee, Jim Daniels, her husband and soulmate of sixteen years, her two beloved children, Alexa and Anna Claire Barry of McGehee, One Stepdaughter, Madison Daniels, of Kinder, Louisiana. Siblings; Thomas (Kristin) Burr, of Allen Texas, Kassi Burr of Jonesboro, Courtney (Nik) Wood of Hamburg, and Camron Burr of Hamburg. She is also survived by her best friend and constant companion, a Boston Terrier named Joey, Three step-grandchildren and a host of other nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Aunt T”.
