Tamara Sue "Tammy" Eatinger Lee, 62, of DeWitt passed away April 2, 2026. She was born April 27, 1963, to Valgene "Curly" Eatinger and Beverly Lutz Eatinger.
Tammy loved going to Heber Springs and to be on the Little Red River. She loved hats and you rarely saw her without one on. Grilled shrimp and a t-bone steak were some of her favorites that she enjoyed any chance she got! If you came to her house, you better like the scent of patchouli because she loved it and everything smelled like patchouli. Tammy always reminded her girls to "Take it one day at a time." and said this often.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Tammy is survived by her daughters Megan Bowen and her husband, James, and Lauren Johnson and her husband, Bobby; thirteen grandchildren Brylee, Sawyer, Haylee, Lainey, Raygan, Brantley, Mason, Dayne, Haven, River, Tatum, Bria (Bryant), and Kaylee. She is also survived by her brothers Gary, David, and Faren and sisters Brenda, Deb, and Kylia; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be 2:00 Saturday, April 11 at Essex Funeral Home.
