Sue Davidson Geissler, 85 of Quitman passed away Thursday April 10, 2025 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. She was born February 18, 1940 in Illmo Mo. To the late, Ike and Geneva Clymer Davidson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Martin Lyle Geissler, a daughter, Lisa Bobo and sister, Faye Adams.
Sue, was a Baptist, and a retired admissions clerk for Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. After retirement her and Martin’s dream was to move close to Greer’s Ferry Lake which they did. She loved cooking, camping and traveling across country, spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them. Sue loved people, gardening, and was a God-fearing woman who taught Sunday school when she was younger.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Stover (Byron) of Star City, a son in law, Lud Bobo, step son, Jeffrey Charles Geissler of Twin Falls, Id, and a sister, Janet Robertson of Baton Rouge La. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Brandi Wooldridge (Matt), Jason Bobo (Jessie), Justin Bobo, Ethan Stover, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24th at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Bro. Howard Loetscher officiating. Family and friends will have a gathering on Saturday, April 26th at 12:00 PM at Cane Creek State Park, Pavillion #2 near Star City.
