Brian Scott “Scotty” Massey, 50, of Pine Bluff, loved fishing, his family and his dogs. He passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at home.
Scotty was born January 12, 1976, in Harrison, Arkansas, son of William T. ‘Tommy” Massey and Retha Kay Rainbolt Massey.
He was reared and received his early education in Marshall, graduating from Marshall High School.
Scotty worked as a forklift driver.
He married the love of his life, Sharon Spharler Simpson, on March 20, 2019, and moved to Sulphur Springs.
Scotty was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Massey; and two step-sons, Coy Simpson and Tyler Simpson, both of Searcy; and his in-laws, Delmon and Edith Spharler of Sulphur Springs.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Mike Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Grant County. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
