Ruthie Jean Lemonds Ratterree 86, of Rison, AR passed away May 16, 2025, in Rison. She was born December 3, 1938, in Star City, AR to the late Homer and Virgie Murray Lemonds. Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers, seven sisters, one granddaughter Shelly Marie Sorg and three great-grand children, Michael Sorg, Taylor Sorg and Benny Lee Hamilton.
Ruthie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, AR and was a homemaker. She loved her family very much.
Survivors are one daughter Bobbie Jean Erwin of Rison, AR, two brothers John Lemonds of Russellville, AR, Delmer Lemonds of Watson, AR, two sisters Kathy Bohannon of Crossett, AR, Diann Beck of Cleveland, MS, a special niece Sheila Hopper, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2025, from 12:00-1:00pm and service following at 1:00pm both at Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, AR with burial Macedonia Cemetery, Rison, AR. Rev. Greg Sluggo will be officiating.
Memorials may be made in memory of Ruthie to Liberty Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, AR.
