Rose Tatum, 72
1954-2026

Rose Mary Earnest Tatum of Prattsville, Arkansas was born February 18, 1954, in Sheridan, Arkansas the daughter of the late Willis and Eunice Buie Earnest. Rose was a faithful member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, and was retired from Saline Memorial Hospital where she worked in the kitchen. Rose was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook, crochet or any kind of crafts, as well as gardening, and she loved to decorate for Christmas. She also had a love for the outdoors including fishing and going to the deer camp, but her greatest joy in life was loving her family. Her lasting legacy of love lives on through her family as she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Rose passed away June 27, 2026, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 72.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Eunice Earnest, her brother Willy Earnest. and sister-in-law Una Faye Earnest. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Rick Tatum, daughters Sonya (Scott) Bentley and Misty Wagner, brother Bruce Earnest (Kelly), sisters Velda Cupit, Janet Williams, and Barbara Liles, stepdaughter Misty Pearson, grandchildren Billy (Stephany) Murphy, Lindsey (Josh) Edwards, Lauren Murphy (David Lee Bailey), Cassidy Pearson, Stormy Bently, great grandchildren Braiden Populis, Easton Murphy, Braylee Populis, Cash Edwards, Carter Edwards, Blake Murphy, Kolton Bailey, Jordan Gossage, and Everly Gossage and a host of nieces, nephews and friends..

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday July 10, 2026, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Don Goodman and Bro. Neal Hollinger officiating.
