1943-2025
Robert Cater, 82, of Redfield, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2025.
He was born January 1, 1943, in Monticello, to Arlee and Carma Green Cater.
He retired from International Paper after 37 years as a Woodsman.
He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Thrower Cater, whom he married on April 25, 1964, in Pine Bluff; his parents; and a sister, Margaret Thrower.
Survivors include a son, Steve (Cindy) Cater of Redfield; a daughter, Teresa (Steve) McGill of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, and Samantha Brickey, Hunter Morris, Bailey and Taylor Cater, Seth, Taylor Klitzke; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, James Cater, Willie Cater; sisters, Earlene Dunn, Ruth Morgan, Joyce Quillen, Lawanda Penick and Virginia Hood.
Graveside service by Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel will be Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Redfield Cemetery with Reverend Ronnie Meredith officiating.
