Ricky Roy Martin, 68
1958-2026

Ricky Roy Martin, 68, of White Hall went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2026. He was born in New Mexico to the late A.J. Martin and Lota Dallas Martin on May 22, 1958. Ricky spent his childhood in Cabot, Arkansas where he attended grade school. He went to trade school to learn to weld.

Welding brought him the opportunity to work for Brighten Corp until the business moved out of state. He then drove for Billy’s Towing and Fosters Towing for many years. After his career with Fosters Towing, he drove for Tyson as a live hauler until his retirement. He enjoyed being involved in his daughters’ softball, Girl Scouts, and any extracurricular activities they participated in.

Ricky was quite the handyman. If he saw a project or had an idea, he would buy materials and build whatever he wanted. He was a people person; he never met a stranger. Ricky wasn’t going to let you leave his presence without becoming friends first.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Allie Martin; parents A.J. Bill Martin and Lota Dallas Martin; and one aunt, Lucille Martin.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lydia Lackey (Ben) and Summer Nelson; one stepdaughter, Samantha Curz; one brother, Tracy Capkanis (Mary) in California; five grandchildren Austin Martin, Cavin Martin, Denasia Nelson, Bella Cruz and Allie Cruz; and three great grandchildren, Layla Martin, Isaac Martin, Iyana Martin; and his faithful mini pen Juju.

Ricky’s visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
