Otis Thomas Blevins, Jr., 64
1961-2025

Otis Thomas Blevins Jr., affectionately known as “Buster,” age 64, was called home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2025. He passed peacefully at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Otis was preceded in death by his father, Otis T. Blevins Sr.; his mother, Ella Mae Butler; his stepfather, George Butler; and his brother, Faye Blevins.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his devoted wife, Janice Blevins; two daughters, Tameka Berry and Tyrontala Walker, both of Malvern, Arkansas; and two sons, Tristan (Bobbie) Mitchell of Sparkman, Arkansas, and Sergeant Tyrell Mitchell (Amanda) of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He is also survived by four sisters, who have requested not to be listed: eleven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a best friend, Barbara Lynn Hughes, who held a special place in his life.

Otis “Buster” was known for his presence, his strength, and the deep love he had for his family. His earthly journey has ended, but his eternal walk has just begun. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2025, at First Missionary Baptist Church Sparkman, Arkansas Pastor Louis A. Craig officiating clergy. Interment in Sparkman Memorial Cemetery Sparkman, AR by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce, AR. His body will lie is state form from 1:15 p.m. until service time.
