Norma Jean Henry, 81, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born on September 8, 1944, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to the late Preston Griffin and Emogene Morgan. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Bellaire Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Dorinda Carlile of Southaven, Mississippi; her brother, Kenneth (Melba) Griffin of Searcy, Arkansas; her grandsons, Matthew Carlile, of Southaven, Mississippi and Jared Carlile of Orlando, Florida; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel, with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Michael Griffith.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
