Nick Robinson, 72, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home. He was born October 4, 1952 to Bobby and Jean Merriweather Robinson.
Nick was a United States Army Veteran, serving four years during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of a couple of liquor stores in Pine Bluff. Nick was a Baptist and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old west movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Carnes Robinson, whom he married February 14, 1976; one son, Jimmy Scroggins; grandchildren, Angel Scroggins (Daniel Woods), Austin Scroggins, Taylor Boyd (Shaun Boyd); great-grandchildren, Layla Woods, Emma Woods, and Forrest Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mike Robinson; and a grandson, Zachary Scroggins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Nick’s name be made to St. Jude.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 in the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. Rev. Doney Blackerby will officiate. Burial will follow in DeWitt Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until funeral time Thursday.
