1940-2026
Myrna Ann Turner, age 85, of Stamps, Arkansas, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born in the little town of Princeton, Arkansas on October 27, 1940, to James and Myrna Lawrence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stamps, was a great cook and a deacon’s wife of the church. Keeping her grandchildren was a highlight that brought joy to her heart. She found happiness in her dog, Ginger’s companionship. Myrna’s greatest joy was when she found the Lord during her teen years. She continued loving Him by telling others about her salvation and sharing His Word with her community.
Preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Myrna Lawrence; brothers, James Robert Lawrence, Jr. and Donald Lawrence; and sister, Francis Hern.
Survived by her spouse, T.G. “Glen” Turner; son, Bro. Mike Turner (Alicia) of Stamps, AR; daughter, Shelia Renee Turner of New York, NY; sister Margaret Parham-Watson of Hope, AR; and grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Eric, Adam (Abbigail), Joseph Turner.
Honoring Mrs. Turner as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be held Monday March 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at A O Smith Funeral Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the AO Smith Funeral Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating, followed by interment at 2:00 pm at the Murfreesboro Cemetery, Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
