Margie Sue Temple, 78, of Star City, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Chapel Woods Health & Rehab in Warren, Arkansas. Sue was born on October 6, 1947 in Star City to the late Joe and Lorene Carr McGee.
Sue was a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church, and was a court clerk for the City of Star City. She enjoyed camping, water skiing, and shopping. She also loved flowers, especially her roses and she was a talented singer.
Also preceding her in death is her sister, Annie Jo Farrer.
Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Van Temple of Star City, one son, Stanley Temple (Mary) of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, one daughter, Summer Blake of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, two brothers, Jerry and Edward McGee both of Star City, one sister, Doris Aldridge of Star City, and five grandchildren; Austin, Gracyn, Chloe, Ally, and Cash.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral following at 2:00 PM with Bro. Cody Andrews and Bro. Jeff Temple officiating. Burial will be at McGee Cemetery. Pallbearers are Austin Temple, Cash Blake, Jacob Langford, Scott McGee, Darian McGee, and Jonathan Blake.
