Lynda Ann Mayer, 69
1956-2026

Lynda Ann Lewis Owen Mayer departed to her eternal home on May 24, 2026. She will be filled with joy upon seeing her brother, Lake, her mother and father, Jane and Lake, her grandmother, Sula Peer, and all the ancestors that she never knew on this earth.

Lynda had strong beliefs. Above all was her faith in Jesus. She believed her God-given talents were mostly meant for service to others and felt she only did a small fraction of what she could have done. She believed in keeping herself happy and healthy. She enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday school, going to the gym, cooking, baking and decorating.

Lynda loved the people that crossed her path in this life. Most of all she loved her son, Brickley and his wife, Jordan and grandsons, Jackson and Lake. She loved her church, work, co-workers, and the welcoming families in the Griffith Springs community that were a blessing.

Lynda wishes to thank Dr. Brad Baltz and his employees, past and present, for many extended years of life filled with priceless memories.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Lake Lewis, and her brother, Lake Lewis Jr.

She is survived by her son, Brickley Owen (Jordan), grandsons, Jackson and Lake Owen; Sister, Lisa Boyer (Ed) and their children, Deonna and Colton; and a very special cousin, Lou Bogy Landsberger and her daughter, Hannah.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Star City from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM. Service will follow at 10:00 AM with Bro. Tyler McKinney officiating. Her ashes will rest at Little Bayou Meto Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorials are requested to First Baptist Church, PO Box 368 Star City, AR 71667.
