Laurine “Lou” Donoho, age 77, of Sheridan, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, in Napa, California. A devoted Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, Lou spent her life bringing joy and laughter to everyone around her.
Born to Laurie and Pauline Ogilvie on February 25, 1948,Lou was known for her warmth, compassion, and the special way she made people smile. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Henry Donoho Jr.; her parents; her sister, Penny (Bill) Carlson; her daughter, Stacey Lin Donoho; and her in-laws, William Henry Donoho Sr. and Doris (née Reed).
Lou found love again later in life and spent the past nine years sharing deep companionship and happiness with Ken Werris of Napa, California. Ken’s presence brought Lou immeasurable joy, and their bond was a true testament to love’s enduring nature.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Pamala (Ken- as she would say, "Occifer Wicker") Wicker of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Paula Donoho (John Horan) of Shorewood, Illinois; her son-in-law, Beau "Mr. Bojangles" Sielken of Naperville, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Deanna O'Dowd (Gerry); and her niece, Kaiya Engelhard(Jerry Barajas). Lou also cherished her best friends, Mary Ann Endicott and Pam Witty Oakland.
Lou’s grandchildren brought her so much joy and were the lights of her life. Kaylaurine Sielken, Terry D. Sielken III (Andrea), Sierra Welter (Jack Carroll), Braeannalin Sielken, William Wicker (Heather), Hailee Warwick (Nathan), and Gavin Sielken (Dayana)— Her great-grandchildren—Gabrielle Beralas; Olivia Grooms, Emma, and Paislee Cotton; Evan Wicker; Fallon Smith; George and Braxton Selmeister; Averi and Terry IV Sielken; Landyn Sielken; Ava Morgan; Luke and Abbey Horan; Kipton and Grayson Austin and Jacquelyn Carroll—brought her endless pride and joy. Lou is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Belle, Lou's 4 legged furry friend will be so happy to see her.
Lou’s legacy lives on in the countless memories she created with her family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, and fierce love for those she held dear will never be forgotten. Lou lived for her weekly facetime/phone calls with her grand/great grandchildren. Lou expressed the importance of family and engrained these values in her family. Lou’s final words: " Be HAPPY! “
