1944-2025
Larry E, Bisbee, 80, of Hensley, Arkansas went to be with his Lord Friday morning, May 16, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 19, 1944.
Larry is survived by his wife Mary Hedrick Bisbee of 47 years; their children Ron McGathy (Rachel), Greg McGathy (Dana), Stacy Lilly (Charlie), and Lydia Bisbee; his 5 grandchildren Brooke Garrett, Gunner McGathy (Alli), Clayton Garrett (Jacque), Alexis Hoyt, and RJ McGathy; and his sisters-in-law Debbie Hedrick and Vickie Hedrick.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Seth and Mildred (Smith) Bisbee, his siblings Carroll Bisbee (Ruth), Dan Bisbee (Jean), Gloria Lawrence (Bill), and Russell Bisbee (Toni), his in-laws Leroy and Hibernia (Minyard) Hedrick, and brothers-in-law Dub Hedrick and Alvin Hedrick.
Larry was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Sheridan High School. He held a variety of jobs through the years – a true jack of all trades. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member 0f East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Before that, he attended Bingham Road Baptist Church for 40 years, where he was the sound engineer. He was a Master Mason at Iron Springs Lodge 342 a past Master, and a member of the Shriners.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at East Union Missionary Baptist Church in East End with his memorial service following at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Cemetery.
