Kristin Plummer, age 75 of Malvern, died Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Encore Healthcare and Rehab. She was born on November 18, 1950 in El Dorado, Arkansas. Kristin was the daughter of the late James Ormand Plummer and Kristin Dildy Plummer. She had been a resident of Malvern since August of 1979. Kristin graduated high school in Benton Arkansas in 1969. She received her BA degree in 1973 from Hendrix College in Conway, and her MA degree in 1975 from ASU-Jonesboro. She taught school for four years, helping students learn English and French. She spent 13 years in local church music ministry; and was a caregiver for 33 years, seeing after three senior extended-family members. Kristin wrote and published four Christian books and produced and copyrighted four original music CDs of His Word and His Spirit. She was involved for a number of years in intercessory prayer ministry by phone with friends from five states, including Arkansas. She devoted serveral hours per week to this ministry.
Kristin is survived by her friends and caregivers, Adonna Wilson and Missy Buck; by two cousins, Dr. Julie McCoy and Angela Bauer; and by many friends and grateful subjects of her powerful prayers.
Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon, February 19, 2026, at 2:00, in the County Line Cemetery near Nashville, Arkansas, under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
