John Langrell, 79, of White Hall, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
He was born May 9, 1946, in England, Arkansas, son of Ray and Minnie Holland Langrell.
John was reared and received his early education in England, graduating from England High School.
He worked in various roles for the Cotton Belt Railroad for many years, retiring in 1988.
John was a member of Harvest Time Church.
He loved tinkering with and fixing stuff for others. John also loved hunting, fishing, horses and rodeos. More than anything, he loved his wife, Lucy.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Cooper Langrell; three sisters, Peggy, Anita and Carol; and two brothers, Bruce and Mike.
Survivors include two sons, Valley Vanderhoof, Sr. and John Vanderhoof; two daughters, Juanita Nixon and Stacy Haynes; brother, Jimmy Langrell; granddaughter whom he raised, Lauren Baker; 14 other grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday evening at Harvest Time Church in White Hall. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Harvest Time Church with Brother Harry Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
