Johanna Rena Thrower, 74, of Star City, AR passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home. She was born in Amsterdam Holland Netherlands on November 21, 1951, to the late Johon and Olga Sikman.
Johanna attended Yorktown Freewill Baptist church, and she was an Administrative Assistant at Arkansas State Department of Human Services. She enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her loving husband of 21 years.
Also, preceding Johanna in death was her son, Charles Edward Hunsucker, and three sisters; Joyce, Peggy, and Evonne.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Thrower of Star City, four sons; Howard Hunsucker, Charles “Junior” (Autumn)Hunsucker both of Star City, Robert (Audra) Thrower of Woodlawn, and Rick Thrower of Star City, one daughter, Sharon (Lance) Denmon of Woodlawn, one brother, Rudy Sikman of Granada Hills, California, one sister, Edith Sikman Cathey, 11 grandchildren; Jacob, Gabby, Jackson, Char’Lee Beth, Jessica, Danielle, Michael, Caitie, Nikki, Levi, and Lance Jr, and 12 great-grandchildren; Savannah, Jace, Jordan, Emersyn, Charlotte, Bentley, Waylon, Wyatt, Waylon, Oaklynn, Hutson, and Nash.
