Jessie Faye Bryant, 67, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2025.
She was born January 18, 1958, in Truman, to Jessie Andrew and Lucy Marie Rouse Russell.
She enjoyed dancing, being outdoors with her husband, spending time with her family and watching the older TV shows, especially General Hospital.
She had worked alongside her mother and daughter, at Marie’s Place in England. She was a loving wife, mother, and Meme to all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Andrew Russell, Lucy Marie Rouse Reeves; grandchildren, Josh Garrison, Jeremy Handy; great-grandchild, Zackary; a brother, William Russell, sisters, Kathy Laughry, Melissa Taylor and her father-in-law, Douglas Bryant.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Michael Bryant; children, Olivia Handy (Jeff) of Rison, Barbara Jones of Pine Bluff, Tonya Freeman (Brian) of Vilonia, Drew Bryant (Christyna) of Lonoke; grandchildren, Ashley Runions (Brannon), Jessica Lancaster (Michael), Jeffery Ashcraft (Kayla), Michael James, David Hampton, Shannon Seigrist (Billy), Christopher Holbert, Kayleigh Handy, Timmy Freeman, Magnolia Bryant, Waylon Bryant, Brooke Davis; sister, Liz Joest (Nick) of Kentucky; mother-in-law, Patsy Bryant of England; brother-in-law, Bobby Bryant (Shea) of England; her fur baby, Lulu and numerous great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Mrs. Bryant’s main occupation was a stay-at-home Meme to her granddaughter, Ashley Runions, who she adored dearly.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Ralph Robinson & Son from 1 to 2 p.m.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Celebrant Marty Shell officiating.
Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery.
