Jeffrey Thomas Malia, 68, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was a dedicated family man and Marine veteran who loved his music, particularly his guitars, and particularly loved his daughter, Royce.
He passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at home.
Jeffrey was born December 13, 1957, in Bourne, Massachusetts, son of Richard and Suzanne Grenier Malia.
He was an Air Force brat and moved around from Massachusetts to different states including California, Arizona, Texas and New Hampshire. Jeffrey’s parents decided to retire in California at the end of their military career as Jeffrey was approaching high school. He graduated from Atwater High School in Atwater, California in 1976. He served in the United States Marine Corps after High School.
Jeffrey had a deep passion for music, playing the keyboard and the drums, but his musical passion was the guitar.
He worked in several maintenance jobs before retiring and moving to Arkansas to maintain a close relationship with his loving daughter, Royce.
Along with his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Malia.
Survivors include his daughter, Royce Malia; sister, Cindy Malia; and brother, Thomas Malia.
A private gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors
