Ginger Lynn Haygood, 78 of Star City passed away peacefully Friday, May 9th 2025 at The Blossoms in Star City. She was born January 2, 1947 in Fordyce to the late, Rubin Grady and Gertrude Porter Haygood. She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Transportation, a graduate of Star City High School, a member of the First Baptist Church in Star City growing up and later in life was a member of Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City. She loved her family and loved to visit with people.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Adam Free and a brother, Billy G. “Bill” Haygood.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Lynn Smith, a sister, Glenda Haygood Fish (Sonny) all of Star City, a granddaughter, Cali Cheyenne Smith, two great grandchildren, Asher Smith and Ridlei Cason, two nieces, Kim Steed (Brock), Robin Fish and several great nephews, nieces and cousins.
Graveside Services will be 2:30 PM Monday May 12th,2025 at Leek Cemetery with Bro. Don Borland officiating. There will not be a public visitation.
