Mr. George Gatewood, Jr., 76, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Mr. George Gatewood, Sr., and to the late Mrs. Earthelene (Eurvin) Gatewood.
Mr. George Gatewood, Jr., leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Mrs. Mary S. (Patillo) Gatewood of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his sons, Mr. Kenneth Gatewood of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Mr. George Gatewood, III., of Houston, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Tamisha Henderson of Sherwood, Arkansas; brothers, Mr. Eddie Gatewood, Mr. Lee Gatewood, Mr. Charles Gatewood, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; as well as his sisters, Mrs. Geneva Richard, Mrs. Donna Washington, and Ms. Carrie Gatewood, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Gatewood's visitation will be 6:00 PM-7:00 PM, Friday, May 29, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home, 2704 Commerce Circle Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71601.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at New Community Baptist Church, Rev. Leroy Spears, JR. officiating. His body will lie in-state from 9:15 AM until service time. Interment following will be at Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
