Edith Marie Bond Young, 95, of Hot Springs, formerly Star City, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at Pines Nursing and Rehab in Hot Springs. Edith was born December 18, 1930 in Drew County to the Late Willaim Edward and Nellie Piper Bond. She worked for the Little Rock School District as a media specialist and was of the Methodist faith. Edith enjoyed quilting, trips to Lake Ouachita and spending time with her family.
Also preceding her in death was her loving husband, Harrel Young, five brothers, and 5 sisters.
Survivors include two sons; James Young and wife Vee of Naples, Fl, and Barry Young and wife Michelle of Fayetteville, one daughter, Deborah Roberts and husband Cliff of Hot Springs, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside services are 11:00am Monday, July 13, 2026 at Trinity Cemetery. Bro Greg Wertenberger officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
