Dr. Tommy Vance Ray Jr., 66, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 25, 2026. He was born June 5, 1959 in Pine Bluff to Tommy Vance Ray Sr. and Minnie Ella Ray.
Tommy was raised and educated in Watson Chapel graduating from Watson Chapel High School. He then attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa and after graduation came back to Pine Bluff to work as a chiropractor. He was a big outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. Tommy also was a sports fanatic, watching all different sports. He was a board member of the Arkansas Chiropractor’s Association and was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Sinks Ray, whom he married August 24, 2021; mother, Minnie Ella Ray; daughters, Sara Ray and Mary Ellen Pierce; grandchildren, Jordan Barber, Stormy Barber, Emma Ray, Arabella Yarbrough and Charlotte Pierce; and sister, Nancy Allen.
Preceding him in death were his father; and son, Kyle Barber.
There will be a memorial celebration of life at a later date.
