1961-2025
Daniel “Danny” Perry Lawson, 64, of Pine Bluff passed away peacefully at his mother’s home Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was born June 30, 1961.
Danny was a member of Shannon Road Baptist Church. He was a pipefitter/welder for Local Union 155. He loved hunting, fishing, playing music, on his guitar, playing pool, spending time with his family especially his grandson. He loved working with his brothers and sisters through the union. Danny was a hard worker and took pride in his pipefitting skills. His most recent employment being in West Texas at the newly developed Stargate plant. He also loved working in his yard and took pride in having a nice yard.
Preceding him in death was his father, Monroe Morrell Lawson.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Louise Lawson of Glendale, a daughter, Danielle Beene (Cameron) of Little Rock, two brothers, Randell Lawson (Angela) and David Lawson (Kim) both of Glendale, one grandchild, Bowie James Beene, several nieces and nephews, and his loving cat Jack.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. James Wreyford and Bro. Jarrod Pettit officiating. Burial will be at Branch Cemetery in Sulphur Springs.
