Claud Erman Bost, Jr., 85

Claud Erman Bost, Jr., 85, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

He was born on November 3, 1940, in Wright, to C. J. Bost, Sr. and Hattie Lovelle Bost.

Claud was a graduate of Altheimer High School and was an Agriculture Pilot for 20 years. He was a Co-owner of Claud Bost & Son Farms where they grew cotton and grain until his retirement in 2012.

He was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church and loved to sing at church, especially with his wife. Claud also enjoyed dirt track racing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Wells, Kitty Evans and Betty Bollen; and brother, Dr. J.L. Bost.

Survivors include his wife, Lanelle Arledge Bost, whom he married on September 22, 1960, in Wabbaseka, Arkansas; sons, Jeff Bost (Ashley) of White Hall, Tracy Bost (Marisa) of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Whitney, Roza, Caitlin, Hunter, Felicity, Farrah; six great-grandchildren; brothers, John Bost of Florida, Jerry Bost of Little Rock; sisters, Patsy Finley of California, Reba Hobson of Cabot and Claudette Martin of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 10 to 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. Funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Mike Powell officiating.

Burial will follow in Flat Bayou Cemetery when the weather allows.
