Christie Barron, age 71, of White Hall, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Born January 24, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, Christie was a daughter of the late Chris James Paschal and Jean McElwee Paschal.
Christie worked at the Pine Bluff School District as a student placement tester for several years and more recently worked in hotel management. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce Red Coats.
She was well known for her kind, outgoing personality and her ability to never meet a stranger. In her spare time, Christie enjoyed playing bunko with her bunko group and spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Christie was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Barron Lampkin; son, Matthew Wayne Barron; and granddaughter, Halie Herron Ramirez.
Survivors include her son, Brian Barron; stepmother, Nancy Boaz Paschal; two brothers, Paul James Paschal (Michelle) and Mark James Featherston (Mady-Lyn); two sisters, Kathryn Ann Paschal and Carol F. Wilfert (Robert); and her granddaughter, Madison “Maddie” Lampkin; son-in-law, Jody Lampkin; and grandson-in-law, Robert Ramirez.
Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Father Herman Browne officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 17th from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
