Charles Edward Horne, 89, of Benton, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday November 17, 2024 at Heartland Rehab in Benton, Arkansas.
He was born September 16, 1935 in Lonoke, Arkansas a son of Hugh and Clovis O’Cain Horne.
Charles loved to farm with his father when he was younger. He also loved fishing, being outdoors and old model cars. He was a very loving man who loved all his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda Horne, his brother Carroll Horne, his mother and father in-law Maxine and James Fisher.
Mr. Horne is survived by two daughters: Maxie Claypool of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Annette Harrison of Benton, Arkansas: Four grandchildren, Sarah Murschel and husband Jerome of Petrolia, Texas, Paul Claypool, Victoria Claypool, and Lindsey Claypool all of North Little Rock: Three great grandchildren Alyssa Ramos, Asjla Ramos and Hunter Jacobsen: also one great great grandson Nicholas Ramos: One brother Robert Horne of Scott, Arkansas and one sister Dena Atkins of Cheyenne, Wyoming: one nephew and two nieces.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 20, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wilson- Robison Funeral Chapel 701 Pine Bluff Highway England Arkansas; The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the chapel with Pastor Matt Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Keo Cemetery, Keo, Arkansas.
