William “Billy” Thomas Anderson, Jr., 69, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

He was born on February 5, 1956 in Pensacola, Florida to William Thomas Anderson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and the late Sara George Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jackson Anderson of Hot Springs, with whom he shared many wonderful years. He is also survived by one son, Joel Anderson of Redfield; his brother, Rob Anderson (Karen) of Bend, Oregon; stepson, Bradley Jackson (Annette) of Pine Bluff; stepdaughter, Amy Jackson Douglas of Little Rock; granddaughters Hannah Gaines (Nate) of Walnut Ridge, Avery Claire Kell of Little Rock; and niece, Alexa Anderson of Bend, Oregon.

Billy graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1974. He was an avid baseball and softball player for many years. He enjoyed competing in quarter horse shows around the state of Arkansas and was a passionate fan of the thoroughbreds at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs. Billy loved watching his Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoons and playing outside with his three Labrador Retrievers. His profession provided him with one of his greatest passions, serving his community as a salesman for over 30 years at Smart Motor Company in White Hall, AR.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home, 807 Cherry St. Pine Bluff. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Bellwood Cemetery.
