Billie Thomas Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 01, 1938, in Prattsville, the son of the late Harvey Lee and Vida Ellen Hope Harris. He was a member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and a Disabled Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1958-1978. He became a truck driver for USA Trucking, Inc. and then became a truck driver for Carl Smith Trucking until his health would not allow him to work.
Bill died on April 16, 2026 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 87.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters, wives, Pattie Harris, Zella Whitmire Harris and Eunice Harris.
Survivors: sons, Billie Harris, Harvey Harris both of Sheridan; sister, Dorris Faye Harris of California; granddaughter, Katie Harris, step grandson, Bobby Chapman, daughter, Haley Hunter-Harris; great grandchildren, Leyton Hunter, Naomi Hunter; 6 stepdaughters; 2 stepsons; 20 step grandchildren; 24 step grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM om Friday, April 24, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Meredith officiating. Visitation is prior to the service from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery near Sheridan.
Pallbearers are Robert (Bobby Chapman, Justin Koon (Buzzsaw), Eddie Suttle, Danny Clark, Tony Puckett (Doolittle) and Lester Bordenaro. Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Jordan and Larry Cockerton.
