1953-2025
Arnold Christopher “Chris” Denton, 71, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was born September 13, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Arnold Sterling Denton and Margie June Dodson Denton.
Chris was raised in Dallas, Texas and was a retired construction superintendent. He loved spending time with his wife and he loved his politics.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Kimbrell Denton, whom he married in 2006; six children, Candy Carter (Courtney), Autumn Stephens (Tom), David Denton, Casey Denton (Alicia), David Brazzell (Gabby) and Lindsey Malone (Blake); and eighteen grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his siblings, Jennie, Sally and Harvey.
There will be no services at this time. Chris will be taken back to his beloved Texas.
