Allison Eugene “Gene” Pharr, 80 of Monticello, Arkansas passed away April 8, 2026, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Born December 24, 1945, in Mount tabor, Arkansas and was the son of the late Dayton and Masil Peacock Pharr. His parents and beloved wife, Lou Pharr and two brothers preceded him in death.
He was a member of Star City Church of Christ, retired farmer, and had served in the United States Army, member of VFW and Mount Tabor Hunting Club. His favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors are son Steve Pharr of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and daughter Jeanie (Chris) Chambers of Monticello, Arkansas, brother David Pharr of Monticello, Arkansas and sister Gail Lenderman of Monticello, Arkansas, five grandchildren; Dayton (Jennifer), Cassidy (Brad), Bentley (Austin), Christopher (Kaitlyn) and Allison, also five great-grandchildren; Tristen, Gracelynn, Carter, Codi, and Lottie.
Graveside services at 2:30 Sunday, April 12, 2026, Mount Tabor Cemetery with Landon Dutton officiating. Memorials may be made in Gene’s memory to charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements made by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, AR.
