New Pine Bluff City Council member LaTisha Brunson. Who was sworn in during Tuesday’s first meeting of 2023 was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday.
Brunson was elected to replace Ward 1 Council member Joni Alexander who did not seek reelection, and said she wanted to build consensus as a member of the council.
Morning show host Greg Horne asked Brunson what the council, as private citizens, could do to influence a private business and get them to locate on the east side.
She was also asked if she was optimistic that the council and the mayor could get along, considering there has been a lot of pushback in the past.
