A Monticello woman died Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle on North Conley Street.
According to a preliminary report, Linda Martin, 58, died at the Monticello airport where she had been taken before she could be airlifted to a hospital.
The report said Martin was struck by the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe that had been traveling south on North Conley Street at 9:24 p.m. The driver of that vehicle was not identified in the preliminary report.
The death was the 311th so far this year on the state’s highways.
