Former State Representative Vivian Flowers was elected as Mayor of Pine Bluff in Tuesday’s election after receiving 88% of the vote over Libertarian candidate John Fenley.
Flowers has a plan in place for three major things she would like to implement once she is sworn into office.
She spoke with Deltaplex News on Wednesday to discuss those things, beginning with capturing the trust of the public.
Flowers said earning that trust is important for moving forward.
She shared a second part of her plan that she feels is important for the City of Pine Bluff to have success moving forward.
Another thing that is in the plans for Flowers is a forensic audit of all city financials.
Flowers concluded things by saying she believes these initial plans can help gain trust of not only Pine Bluff citizens, but others who are looking to invest in the City of Pine Bluff.
