On May 17, 2025, Zquavious Croom, 18, escaped from the Dumas Police Department intake area during the booking process.
Croom, a Black male described as 5’7” and approximately 170 pounds, was being processed on charges of Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threatening.
Though unarmed at the time of his escape, authorities caution that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Croom’s whereabouts is urged to contact local law enforcement or Desha County Central Dispatch at 870-382-3331.
The ADC K9 Unit, Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, and Arkansas State Police have been commended for their immediate assistance in the search efforts. The Dumas Police Department has been recognized for their transparency and quick response in managing the situation.
