Sissy’s Log Cabin officially opened its newest location inside Saracen Casino Resort Friday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by community leaders, company officials and guests.
The new location marks the company’s eighth store and its first inside a casino.
The ceremony began with a prayer before representatives from Sissy’s, Saracen Casino Resort and the City of Pine Bluff welcomed attendees and celebrated the partnership.
Regional Manager Ben Trevino said the new location represents a new chapter for Sissy’s Log Cabin as the company expands into Saracen Casino Resort.
Trevino discussed how the partnership came together, what it means to open another location in Pine Bluff and how the new store fits alongside the company’s longtime flagship location.

Joseph Smith, general manager of Sissy’s Log Cabin’s new Saracen Casino Resort location, also outlined the store’s operating hours and what guests can expect when visiting the new showroom.
The new Sissy’s Log Cabin location will be open Wednesday through Sunday, with hours varying throughout the week. The store will operate from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, and noon to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate the weekend casino crowd.
Smith highlighted some of the products shoppers can expect to find in the store, including several items unique to the new location.
The new showroom joins several recent additions at Saracen Casino Resort, including the resort’s hotel and event center.
The jewelry store expands the property’s retail offerings while giving guests another amenity during their visit.
Hannah Settles, the media coordinator for Saracen Casino, said the addition of Sissy’s Log Cabin continues the resort’s recent expansion while bringing together two longtime Pine Bluff organizations.
While discussing the partnership, Saracen officials explained how the idea of bringing Sissy’s Log Cabin into the resort first came together.
The ceremony concluded with a ribbon cutting as members of the Jones family, Saracen officials and community leaders officially opened the new location. Guests were then invited inside to tour the showroom and browse the store’s selection of jewelry and timepieces.
Following the event, Sissy’s Log Cabin issued a Press Release:
Sissy’s Log Cabin, the Mid-South’s largest family-owned and -operated retailer of natural diamonds, jewelry, estate pieces, and fine gifts, celebrated the grand opening of its first boutique storefront inside the newly opened Saracen Casino Resort today.
The Saracen boutique brings the signature “Sissy’s Experience” to one of Arkansas’ premier hospitality and entertainment destinations, offering resort guests a curated selection of fine jewelry in an elevated, convenient retail setting. Designed by architect Jesse Balaity, the space reflects Sissy’s warmth and hospitality while complementing Saracen Casino Resort’s energetic guest experience, creating a memorable destination for those celebrating big wins, special occasions, or weekend getaways.
“Pine Bluff will always be at the heart of the Sissy’s Log Cabin story, and opening a boutique inside Saracen Casino is a full-circle moment for our family and our brand,” said Bill Jones, CEO of Sissy’s Log Cabin. “This partnership allows us to bring our extraordinary jewelry and exceptional customer service to a space full of energy and celebration. We’ve always believed fine jewelry should be part of life’s biggest moments, and we’re proud to grow with Pine Bluff while helping guests mark everyday joys and once-in-a-lifetime milestones.”
“Saracen was designed with a focus on raising the bar for gaming and hospitality in Arkansas, and Sissy’s Log Cabin is a natural addition to that vision,” said Carlton Saffa, Chief Market Officer at Saracen Casino Resort. “We see Sissy’s as the Tiffany’s of the South—their brand is interwoven into the fabric of Pine Bluff and Arkansas. Having Sissy’s as part of Saracen allows us to offer the property’s more than one million annual guests, something you’d see in Las Vegas, all while remaining distinctly Arkansas.”
Sissy’s customers and staff, including Founder Sissy Jones, who opened her first store in Pine Bluff in 1970, were in attendance at the ribbon cutting, as well as representatives from Saracen Casino and the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The Saracen Casino boutique is Sissy’s eighth storefront, joining the original log cabin location in Pine Bluff, as well as locations in Little Rock Heights, Little Rock Promenade, Jonesboro, Conway, and Memphis. For shopping hours and additional information, please visit sissyslogcabin.com.
