Sheridan Mayor Cain Nattin has been appointed to the Arkansas Municipal League’s Advisory Council for Economic Development for the 2026-2027 term.
Nattin said he is honored for the opportunity to represent the City of Sheridan while working alongside municipal leaders from across Arkansas to address challenges, exchange ideas and help develop policies aimed at strengthening communities statewide.
The council’s work will include discussions surrounding economic development and municipal priorities, particularly as cities prepare for the upcoming 2027 state legislative session.
“I am honored to accept an appointment to the Arkansas Municipal League’s Advisory Council for Economic Development for the 2026-2027 term,” Nattin said in a Facebook post. “It is a privilege to represent the City of Sheridan while working alongside municipal leaders from across Arkansas to discuss challenges, share ideas, and help shape policies that strengthen our communities.”
Nattin also expressed appreciation to Arkansas Municipal League President Carol Westergren and Executive Director Mark Hayes for the opportunity to serve in the role.
“I look forward to serving our city and our state in this role,” Nattin said.
The Arkansas Municipal League represents cities and towns across the state and provides resources, advocacy and support for local governments.
