CARDS Holdings LLC released updates on its takeover of waste collection services beginning Nov. 1
The first residential collection day for Central Arkansas Recycling and Disposal Services will begin Nov. 3, according to a news release from the city of Pine Bluff. In preparation, CARDS has started delivering commercial and residential waste bins throughout the city.
“Residents and businesses will soon notice new equipment and improved service routes as CARDS launches operations in the community,” according to the city. “The company’s new fleet, advanced technology, and dedicated local team are all part of its commitment to delivering safe, dependable, and customer-focused waste services.”
“We’re honored that Pine Bluff has entrusted CARDS to serve its residents and businesses,” said Kody Yandell, regional municipal manager at CARDS. “Our goal is to provide dependable, professional service while becoming an activepartner in the community. We’re excited to get started and look forward to building strong relationships here.”
Mayor Vivian Flowers shared her enthusiasm for the partnership as well.
“We are proud to welcome CARDS Waste & Disposal to Pine Bluff. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to building a cleaner, more sustainable, and forward-focused city. By strengthening essential services like waste management, we’re investing in the health, beauty, and future of our community.”
CARDS also announced the opening of its local Pine Bluff office, located at 3200 N. Hutchinson St. They also have a new customer service number, (870) 399-7463, which will be active for Pine Bluff residents and businesses. Residents can find an interactive map showing collection days, updates on the service rollout and answers to frequently asked questions by visiting the CARDS Pine Bluff landing page.
