Many customers could have gone without water after a lightning strike caused a fire at the treatment plant of South Sheridan Water Association. Crews were able to work all day on Sunday and into Monday to connect to the Sheridan Water Department’s line. Sheridan Mayor Cain Nattin told Deltaplex News they are just happy that they could help the residents that needed water

Repairs to the damaged system could take months. At the present time, a boil order is in effect.
