On Thursday, Jefferson Regional and affiliates of Lifepoint health will celebrate the grand opening of Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital, a 76-bed rehabilitation and behavioral health hospital located in White Hall with a community open house and ribbon cutting.
Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital houses a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and includes an additional 36 behavioral health beds. The 87,000 square-foot facility replaces and increases the number of acute rehabilitation and behavioral health beds previously available at Jefferson Regional.
According to a press release, speakers at the event will include Mary Daggett, CEO of Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital, Jefferson Regional President and CEO Brian Thomas and Russ Bailey, President Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Lifepoint Behavioral Health.
Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is located at 1600 W. Holland Ave., and the program Thursday starts at 10 a.m.
