Another round of scam calls and scam emails are circulating around Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office would like make citizens aware of the scams.
Major John Bean spoke with Deltaplex News about the scams.
Bean said the Sheriff’s Office will never call citizens regarding any kind of warrant.
There is an additional scam going around involving an email being sent out claiming to be from Judge John Kearney.
Bean shared what citizens should do if they believe they have received a scam call or email.
