The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the publics assistance in locating a recently reported missing person. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are seeking to locate William McElvain.
Mister McElvain is a 71-year-old white male, approximately 6 foot 4 inches tall, 265 pounds, has long gray hair, possibly braided, and a beard which is gray also (See Picture above). Mister McElvain has tattoos of “Roberta” on his back, praying hands on his right pectoral with the words “in memory of mom and dad”. He has tattoos on both arms as well.
Mister McElvain was last heard from at approximately 5:00 PM, May 17, 2025, and last seen at 2:00 PM that same day. Mister McElvain is believed to be on foot and may have left his residence on Samuel Road, Pine Bluff, AR during the evening of May 17, 2025.
