Pine Bluff Mayor Vivian Flowers has formed a Mayor’s Transition Advisory Board with several committees to help her move the city forward, and one of those committees met Monday night for a town hall meeting at City Council chambers.
Several topics were discussed in the meeting to include ways to move Pine Bluff forward. Flowers said one thing Pine Bluff residents have to do is get out of a charity mindset and to get into an investment mindset because no one is coming to save the city.
She went on to say it was local leaders and local developers that made those things happen for other parts of the state.
Flowers said there is a revitalization formula that has been proven to work.
